31 Sierra Leonean media officials/ journalists head for China

A total of thirty-(31) media officials and journalists from Sierra Leone are slated to arrive in Beijing, China’s capital, on Thursday, 6th July,2017, for a three week long ‘2017 Seminar for Media Officials and Journalists from Sierra Leone.’

The seminar is being organized by the Research and Training Institute of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television with sponsorship from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.

In 2016, a similar group of Journalists and Public Relations Officers from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies attended a similar seminar on New Media.

Like the previous one, Chargé d’Affaires at the Sierra Leone Embassy in the People’s Republic of China, Madam Kumba Momoh is expected to address the arriving team at the opening session of their weeks long training. Watch this space for detailed report !
