The nomination of Ambassador Kamara manifestly demonstrates the respect and confidence the African Union Commission, the Peace and Security Council and colleagues’ Permanent Representatives repose on the leadership of Sierra Leone Permanent Representation to the African Union. It is equally connected to his cogent contributions in guiding the work proceedings and deliberations of the PSC plus his vast knowledge on contemporary global issues.

He will also use the opportunity to extol the virtues of His Excellency President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma’s leadership in promoting youth, women and the disabled in higher positions of trust within and outside Sierra Leone.

Meanwhile, full details of Ambassador Kamara’s statement will be published after formal presentation to the Pan African Parliament.
