APC is bigger than M.L. Bangura, says Victor Foh

By EDWARD MARAH

The Secretary General of the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party Mr. Victor Bockarie Foh has strongly reacted to Mr. Mohamed Lainkuray Bangura’s statement, saying the problems of the APC  are not over yet. The APC scribe said the APC party is united and that was the reason for the peace march “as far as we are concerned, the party has settled its peace and all those who initially defected from the party had returned and joined forces with Ernest Bai Koroma”.

Mr. Foh said it’s only ML that is now left thinking that he is bigger than the APC, and going around sabotaging the party’s chances and credibility.

He described Mr. M.L. as a one man show passing around and making public nuissance when nobody is prepared to listen or follow him in his negative propaganda against the party. Mr. Victor called on M.L. to stop his rantings about the APC and Hon. Ernest Bai Koroma’s leadership which he said  will redeem the country from  the current malaise and corruption rampant in every facet of the society. Mr. Victor Foh also accused M.L. of holding the party to ransom against the wishes of the majority people supporting it and Ernest Koroma.

He said the turn out at the peace march is a clear manifestation that come July 28th the people of Sierra Leone would  take APC back to state house.

The peace march attracted thousands of supporters from Waterloo, Mountain Rural District, Goderich, Lumley and Kissy, and the provinces who thronged the streets of Freetown last Saturday in their red party attire. The party Leader and Presidential flag bearer Hon. Ernest Bai Koroma and the newly returned members who have struck a peace deal graced the occasion.
