Philadelphia, USA:- For all the talk about infighting in the North American wing of the All People’s Congress (APC-NA), Chairman Al-Aziz Turay has successfully summoned his administration and comrades to rally folks at home and abroad to do their best in ensuring that President Ernest Bai Koroma wins re-election come November 2012.

As part of the North American branch strategic efforts to support the 2012 Campaign, the APC under Chairman Turay’s leadership has purchased and shipped four Ford Ranger trucks from Philadelphia which will be officially donated to the party when they arrive in early October.

According to Samuel Dilito Turay, APC-NA Assistant Secretary General, the said trucks, “will aid the movement of campaign staff and delivery of campaign materials all across the country.”  The purchase of the trucks was facilitated by four resident members of the Philadelphia chapter, three of whom are also officials of the APC administration. They include Elections Officer, Madam Mamusu Conteh-Luke, Compliance Officer, Alusine S. Lovell, Samuel Dilito Turay and Mustapha Victor Bangura.

Purchase of the trucks was made possible through the fundraising efforts of the various APC chapters and generous contributions from individual members of the APC-NA team. The same administration had previously also donated 14 generators and 14 All-In-One printers with contributions from the APC UK, Holland and Germany branches. Members of the APC-NA team as well as chapter executives expect to travel to Freetown to cast their votes and galvanize support for the re-election of President Koroma.
