On Friday 22nd November, 2019 two public officers made direct allegations against each other on the popular “Gud Mornin Salone” program on Radio Radio Democracy 98.1 FM. The administrative head of the Sierra Leone Parliament, Honourable Paran Tarawally and the Honourable Ibrahim Tawa Conteh of Constituency 132 in the Western Area, made allegations of corrupt acts💵 and misappropriation of public funds 💵in the current parliament.

As Citizens of Sierra Leone and in the spirit of accountability and good governance, we are calling on the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate Parliament and their activities based on the allegations already in public.

We are mindful that these are mere allegations of corruption and it is only the ACC that is mandated to prove whether they are true or just false claims.

We are therefore asking you to please sign this petition in the interest of accountability and good governance and to urge the ACC to do its work.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has invited Honourable Paran Tarawally, the Administrative head of Sierra Leone Parliament and Honourable Ibrahim Tawa of Conteh of Constituency 132 to assist the Commission with their investigations on alleged corruption.

ACC’s Director of Public Education and Outreach, Patrick Sandy said the two public officers are to report on Monday at 10 am.

Their invitation came after both of them made direct allegations against each other of corrupt acts and misappropriation of public funds in the current parliament on the popular “Gud Mornin Salone” program on Radio Radio Democracy 98.1 FM.

After listening to Honourable Paran and Honourable Tawa this morning on Radio Democracy 98.1, it is very clear that the Anti-Corruption Commission have every reason to mount an investigation into the work and activities of the House of Parliament.

The revealing accusations of alleged misappropriation of public funds is not something we should shy away from.

ACC should get into work now now, you already have two potential witnesses.

Abu Bakarr Koroma Keh There is never a dull moment in Sierra Leone

Mamu Al Conteh
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) invited parliament clerk, Paran Tarawally, and Ibrahim Tawa Conteh of Constituency 132 to assist the Commission with their investigations on alleged corruption. Here is my prediction: Paran will walk, whiles everything possible will be done to destroy or blackmail Tawa, for refusing to support Bio’s reckless spending.

Mohamed Santigie Turay Kudos Mr. Hon. Ibrahim Tawa Conteh , you are indeed a great man, you represented your constituency people’s and Sierra Leone as a hold.
