Bolloré Transport & Logistics: 405 employees out in the streets

 

Over four hundred (400) employees of the Bolloré Transport and Logistics Transportation in Sierra Leone took part, yesterday Thursday 2st September, 2017, in Freetown, the capital of the country, in a walk labeled the “Marathon Day”. This information was revealed to journalist who witnessed the event, by Madam Claurinda Morgan, Human Resource Manager, Bolloré Transport and Logistics Transportation in Sierra Leone.

 

Whilst explaining after a long marathon that started from the Queen Elizabeth II Water Quay through Savage Square, through Fourah Bay Road and to Up Gun Turn Table, then down Cline Town and finally ended at the Cline Town entrance gate of the Quay, Madam Morgan said the marathon was the second to be organized by Bolloré Transport and Logistics Transportation in Sierra Leone. She added that the marathon is followed by a charity endeavour that is deducted from the salaries of all members of staff. She said they deduct three (3) Euros per staff’s salary and it is geared to helping needy people across the world.

Madam Morgan added that last year they chose Sierra Leone, and they were able to dispense the sum of thirty-three thousand (33,000) UDS through Red Cross Sierra Leone, to help in charity undertakings.

In addition, whilst further enlightening journalists, Derrell Coker, Documentation Manager Bolloré Transport and Logistics Transportation in Sierra Leone said this year they have identified the Republic of Guinea and that after the marathon all the staff of Bolloré Transport and Logistics Transportation in Sierra Leone would have to contribute 3 Euros which would also have to be used for humanitarian assistance through UNICEF in Guinea. He said they always choose to work with credible international partners throughout all the 105 countries that Bolloré Transport and Logistics Transportation Service do operate.
