Breaking News: 18th December 2019Kono District Unanimously Endorses Return of Sam Sumana to the APC! In a colourful ceremony that attracted several dignitaries from all the chiefdoms that make up Kono district and members executives from across the country, the people of Kono have unanimously endorsed the return of Chief Sam Sumana to the APC. The ceremony was held this afternoon in Koidu city in which speaker after speaker said they approved the return of Chief Sam Sumana to the APC. This ceremony will be followed by another national ceremony in Freetown in which Chief Suman will be reintroduced as a full fledged member of the APC. The New Direction has had difficulties in conquering district that has finally decided to go red with Sam Sumana.
