Members of President’s delegation to UN General Assembly begin arriving in New York

 

Some members of the presidential delegation for the 66th United Nations General Assembly have started arriving in New York. On Friday, Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Mr.Ibrahim B . Kamara , flew in and was received at the JFK International Airport by senior diplomats of the Sierra Leone Mission to the United Nations.

Also arriving in New York was the Minister of Information and Communication, Hon. I.B. Kargbo who flew in from Trinidad and Tobago where he had been attending official business , accompanied by his Special Assistant, Mr. Kwame Yankson. The Minister of Health and Sanitation, Madam Zainab Bangura , who was in Cuba, also on official business, will arrive this weekend.

The Acting  Deputy Director General, Mr. James T. Sawi, who is also a member of the delegation arrived late last week.

PRESIDENT ERNEST KOROMA and other members of his delegation will arrive in New York on Monday.
