Muslim Women join fight against Ebola

The Holy Quran in Sura Azhab verse 35 has laid special emphasis on Allah’s forgiveness and great reward on the believing men and women. In a bid to join the fight for the eradication of EBOLA in the country the Kaffu Bullom Voice of Islam Women’s League will be organizing an all woman Qu’ranic recitation and prayers on Saturday 16th August, 2014 at the Africa Muslim Agency Compound in Lungi.

In an exclusive interview with this medium the President of the Kaffu Bullom Voice of Islam Women’s League Assistant Superintendent of Police Mrs. M’balu Mansaray emphasized that the epidemic that is plaguing our society is a national one, that calls on all to come together as a nation to eradicate this disease, she noted that according to the Holy Quran it is stated that whoever works righteously, man or woman and has faith, verily to him Allah will give a new life that is good and pure.

ASP Mansaray noted that the women are more vulnerable to the disease due to their caring responsibility to the family circle and called on all to join them in their prayers to eradicate EBOLA not only in the country but on earth through prayers. She urged all women to continue adhering with health advices issued by the health authorities and paid tribute to all the women that have lost their lives through this deadly disease.

ASP Mansaray expressed her optimism that with the coming together of women to recite the Holy Qu’ran and pray for the eradication of the disease Allah will grant their request. She thanked the Honorable Member of Parliament Mr. Nicholas Kamara of constituency 54 and Paramount Chief Bai Shebora Gbreh 111 of Kaffu Bullom Lungi for their support in responsibility to the family circle and called on all to join them in their prayers to eradicate EBOLA not only in the country but on earth through prayers. She urged all women to continue adhering with health advices issued by the health authorities and paid tribute to all the women that have lost their lives through this deadly disease.
