Mrs.Timbo-Nwokedi takes to Sierra Leone team from World-famed philantrophist and Evangelist Dick Warren

Those who wonder why Mrs. Isatu Isha Timbo-Nwokedi's photos flash on our pages daily found, on investigation,  why-- The true philatrophist she is, Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi is doing a marvellous job  for Sierra Leone .During the past two years alone, she equipped hospitals and clinics in Sierra Leone with medical and surgical equipment and essential drugs as well as supplying bags of rice to hungry Sierra Leoneans, all voluntarily out of her own coffers. Now, Mrs.Timbo-Nwokedi has taken her philatrophist and patriotic determination to an even higher plane : She has just carried to Sierra Leone  a team from a world-famed evangelical preacher who has a burning passion for building hospitals and clinics in impoverished countries.

The preacher is world-reknowned Pastor Dick Warren , founder of the eighth largest  christian worship centre in the United States, the  mega- Saddleback Church in Lake Forest , California , who has build scores of hospitals and clinics in Rwanda. Pastor Warren learnt about Sierra Leone's dire medical crisis from Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi . During the visit to the U.S this year of First Lady Sia Koroma and the wife of Vice-President Alhaji Sam Sumana, Mrs. Khadia Sam-Sumana, Mrs Timbo-Nwokedi invited them to California and she took them on a visit to Saddleback Church  to meet Pastor Dick Warren and congregation. Fruitful discussions between the First Lady , Mrs.Timbo-Nwokedi and the Evangelist resulted in a commitment from the famed Preacher to visit Sierra Leone to see the areas he could help the country.

 Two weeks ago, the evangelist fulfilled his new passion for the people of Sierra Leone. He prepared a team that  was taken to the country by Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi after Pastor Warren's commitment to help Sierra Leone. In Freetown, Pastor Warren's team  met with President Ernest Bai Koroma and the First Lady, Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma , as well as government officials, including the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Hindolo Sumanguru Trye.  

Speaking to COCORIOKO  in an exclusive interview from Freetown, Sierra Leone  yesterday, Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi said that Pastor Warren and team had done their assessment --the country's problems, needs and areas where the Saddleback Ministry can help the country. Pastor Dick Warren 's team were very pleased with the level of  the assessment  made and information received and they have returned home to the United States . They were full of praise for the hospitality accorded them by President Koroma and the First Lady , and Sierra Leoneans in general. They also commended Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi for introducing them to Sierra Leone.
