Pictorial : President Koroma arrives in New York for UN General Assembly

Sierra Leone’s President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma arrived in New York late yesterday evening to attend the United Nations General Assembly. The private plane that brought the President and his party landed at Teteboro Airport in New Jersey at exactly 7: 45pm .

The President ’s delegation included  the First Lady, Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma ; the Minister of Information and Communication, Alhaji I.B. Kargbo ; State Chief of Protocol, Mr. Alusine Sesay; Oluniyi Robbin-Coker ,Private Sector Adviser to the President ; Ms. Razia Bash-Kamara, TV Program producer; Mrs. Yvonne Tagoe, Executive Secretary to the President; Mrs. Musu Dao, Lady-In-Waiting to the First Lady; Mr. Claudius Beckley, TV Cameraman; Mr. Ibrahim Sesay , Security and Ibrahim Grass-Sesay, Head of Operations of the Office of the First Lady.

The President and delegation were met on arrival by Ambassador to the U.S, Mr. Bockarie Stevens; The Permanent Representative to the UN, Mr. Shekou Momodu Toure; Deputy Permanent Representative For Political Affairs, Mr. Rupert Davies; the Minister Plenipotentiary, Mr. Leeroy Wilfred Kabs-Kanu; the Military Attache , Mr. Ron Harleston and Counselor Mannah Kpukumu.

The Presidential motorcade , led by a trail of police and Secret Service cars with lights flashing then drove from New Jersey  through New York’s crowded and traffic-choked  streets to the President’s Hotel.
