Sierra Leone Government brings in more ambulances and vehicles to fight Ebola

The Government of Sierra Leone has demonstrated once again its determination and commitment to defeat the rampaging Ebola scourge . A giant Boeing 747 has landed at the Lungi International Airport with 20 brand new ambulances for transporting patients and 10 hearses for picking up  corpses. The vehicles were purchased with World Bank funds through the World Food program.

President Ernest Bai Koroma has been assuring the nation and the International Community that his government will do all it takes to contain and end the Ebola outbreak, but he has been appealing for the international community to speed up its response to the outbreak.
