Even though i am not a politician and i don’t really have time to debate baseless issues, i will still try and see if i can put you through the main channel, as it seems to me like your mind is too narrow to see beyond the horizon:

Please, go and check the scale of corruption today in Sierra Leone and that of the past APC regime. At least the SLPP formed the anti corouption commission, something the APC did not even bother to dream about, the APC even legalised it; as they say “wusai you tai cow nar dae e dae eat”
TRIBALISM/REGIONALISM:
Check in the SLPP administration and look at the tribal or regional back ground of its ministers. from deputy defence, health, trade, education, social welfare, marine resources, youth and sport. Police IG, Army chief, NEC chairperson. The list will go on and on. Please you need to read before you write such a piece.
NEPOTISM:
All you need is the right qualification brother, you can make it to the top. Because even if it your father is the one who is going to employ you in a government department he need something to show that he did not just hire his son on preferential basis, but he is indeed has the qualifications for the appointment. So if we just seat abroad and chase dollars, and one day returned home without the right qualifications, we will be busy writing this same kind of piece criticising the system.
SUPRESSION AND OPRESSION: There is even now freedom of speech in Sierra Leone that you will ever imagined in the past, check how many private owned radio stations and news papers that are today existing in the country? Before it was careless talk, today it is criminal liebel, you have all the right to take a lawyer and defend yourself in front of the law, if anyone try to suppress your right to free speech. It was not like that in the past. I hope you should know this.
BEREWAH:
He did not mastermind any killing, those criminals committed suicide, because they knew exactly the consequence of what they involved themselves into. It was a treasonable act and the law made it clearly that the penalty is death. In their case was even worst as they took a democratically elected government out of power. It was an abuse of the citizens right. They deserved what they got. And we all know what we went through in that nine months. Looting all over, lost of lives and social status under that criminal illegal regime.
Finally, i know you are APC fanatics who is even blind about the laws and the dynamic situation in Sierra Leone, both in tha past and today. My advice to you is, please stop insulting our inteligency and try to put proper points to be debated. Partisan writing is not going to help change the situation in that country. So please reflect, focuse man and try and see light, it is there all you need to do is to step out of that partisan corridor, then you will make proper analysis, don’t allow your mind to be caried away by poor thinking. Becasue you are exactly the way you think.

The SLPP formed the anti corruption commission but that net could not catch any one, curruption even escalated. The APC formed the sqandergate commission 1984, caught 106 civil servants red handed, purnished them by asking them to pay back huge sums of money, houses, lands and other properties. At least that seved as a deterent for a long time. Is that too long ago to be forgoten so soon?.

I know that Berewa masterminded their killing and he (Berewa) recommended the killing of more soldiers but was prevented by the Nigerians by then. Berewa masterminded the untimely dismissal of about 2000 soldiers including young officers because of many reasons which need not be over emphasized.
I do not want to debate over the elections any more as the Lord is ready to deliver the people of Sierra Leone,’tell me’, if God be for you who can be against you ?,neither money, nor kamajor, nor Berewa,nor the burning of your own office or preaching tribalism, because in all this things the people’s power shall prevail and Ernest and Charles Margai – APC/PMDC shall win, in Jesus name.

During the APC regime it was the south\easterners that dominates the cabinet. To name few: Salia Jusu Sheriff Vice President, JB Dauda Vice President (SLPP), Sahr Fillie Faboe (now resident minster east SLPP),Ghandi Kapio, KC Gbamanga,Joe Jackson, Amara Bangalie,Suku Tamba,John Karimu and Shamsu Mustapha. Were these men not part and parcel of the then corrupt APC regime that we are now beating and are some of these men not members of the SLPP today?

The convoluted logic that you use in response to mandigo man is bewildering. On the one hand you accuse the APC of Siaka Stevens as “thuggish and kleptocratic” and, as a one party government, it attracted “opportunistic” politicians. On the other hand many of those “opportunistic” politicians now make up leadership cadre of the SLPP, why would you find it necessary to absolve them of collective sins of the APC that you find so abhorrent. Did they all of a sudden get innoculated with an ethical antidote by joining the SLPP. To suggest that the south/esaterners dominated cabinet during the APC regimes indicates that you were not in Sierra Leone. Please go back and do your home work. I do not want to give an excuse for any of the ones you mentioned but please remember that it was a one party government. Siaka Steven was a Limba by all indications and his two long serving VPs (Kamara-Taylor and SI Koroma) were northerners.
Let us forget about Tribalism or regioanlism and put Sierra Leone first. SLPP is going to win the run-off and APC will have a majority in parliament. This will be good for that country and provide meaningful checks and balances for those corrupt politicians.
I pray fervently that a truely multi-ethnic party will develop and strive in that country in the not distant future. I look forward to when both the SLPP and APC are banned.
