But all i can see Sierra leonean molesting one another for politician they never set eyes on.you ask any one of them the reason why the support a particular political aspirant they wont tell anything beneficial to the nation. Rather it will be either because of one of these(tribalism,regionalism,or egocentricism).I dont care who win the 2007 election the tendency for that goverment to fully govern in the people's interest is slim.
The united state is build by the peole not the goverment.How? I will tell
you,because the people of this nation elected their official after torrough
screening by an intense debate,not becuase of regional or racial tie.Also group
of donors all over the country donate finances to close any loopholes left by
both goverments(fedral and state).
The question every Sierra Leonean needs to ask himself/herself is what have i
done for my country.All we know is to support bunch of unpatriotic and political
novice who cannot even settle dispute within their own house hold.AS a sierra
leonean living in the united state i listen to international news every day and
what i hear is people help their people back to their various y home with any
type of support that is avaliable and pay less antention to what ever their
goverment can do whether big or small.
In terms of political involvement you have all right to support any candidate
but it should purely be based for the sake of sierra leone rather than he is a
mende i am or he is a Limba and i am or he is from the east or north and i
am.Support some one whose political platform has been purely screen and meet
your demand for the benefit of the country.Finally if Sierra Leoeans in the
united state can join hand with those in UK TO create an account for a big
political debate two months to the date of election it will be a nice step
taken.Without that which i believe will lead us in making apossitve choice we
will be choosing another Kabba who dissapointed even those who put thier life on
the line for him or another Siaka Steven who will not relinguish such post until
death.

Then I decided I would be a chief/city mayor, so I can change my country and improve the lot, then I realized I could not

I finally decided to concentrate on myself, I realized if I change as good citizen, my family will copy from me.
If my family become good citizens, my neighbors will learn from them, and village will learn from my neighbors.so it follows that my country will change and all will be improve.
