I do not subscribe to the fact that Sierra Leone problem is APC and SLPP.. Our problem is us. Even if we dissolve and throw APC and SLPP to the recycle bin, Sierra Leoneans will galvanise and categorise themselves based on tribal, regional, family and friendly lines.
We allow politicians and those up there to dig into our fabrics and make their way. Most of us idolize these guys because we downplay the power God bestow upon us. Because we are lazy and cannot afford to read between the lines, the minority that are vulnerable always look at those up there as demigod.
Laziness, coupled with the inability to think wisely lead us to wretchedness and hopelessness.
Those that are clamouring and praise singing politicians are lazy and callous. They lack the ability and energy to push on their own.. All they care about is the pittances they received from politicians and those up there.
It is time we break that reckless taboo and start to put mechanisms in place to change the narrative…Wake up this morning, forget about them and start thinking rationally how to prepare yourself for a better life and a better country.
