Big honor for celebrated Sierra Leonean gospel singer Giileh Scholz as she launches second album : Awarded President Joe Biden’s Lifetime Achievement Award
Feathers are in short supply in Maryland, USA where the famed Sierra Leone gospel singer, Giileh Scholz, will be celebrated with a big honor on Sunday March 27, 2022 during the launching of her second album. She will be awarded the U.S President Joe Biden Lifetime Achievement Award and Medal of Honor.
Sierrra Leoneans have been waiting with huge anticipation for this glorious day in the life of a remarkable Sierra Leonean- born Gospel recording singer/actress and humanitarian , who after 11 exciting years will sizzle the hearts of fans and nationals of both the U.S. and her mother country, Sierra Leone, with her second album.
The much-talked-about event will take place at KPCMI Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. Presenting the much-coveted award to her will be the Rev. Dr George Holmes – who has worked with 5 US presidents and is the current faith -based White House Laison.
The church is expected to be jammed by members of the Sierra Leonean, Cameroonian, Nigerian and American community as well as state councilmen, and multiple electoral candidates.
Giileh is an asset who has greatly served the Sierra Leone community over the years in multiple businesses, humanitarian and non profits enterprises , particularly during the Ebola pandemic and beyond.
She has worked in the area of fundraising and entertainment , giving back to multiple communities organizing events such as the African Gospel Musicians Concert, Nollywood Magazine Launch and others too numerous to mention.
Others expected to be in attendance include Sierra Leonean Pastors residing in the DMV, officials of the Sierra Leone Embassy, a large percentage of Sierra Leonean Alumni , the Sierra Leone entertainment community and gospel ministers representing Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Liberia and many more organizations that with whom Giileh has worked .
There will be many thrilling sideshows and photo opportunities. It hopes to be another memorable Sierra Leonean and American event .
