Some of you live in discouragement because you think that your time to be blessed by God has passed. But God is never late. Do not throw up your hands in despair and give up now because you are well advanced in years and you think that something you have trusted God for all your years has not been received yet.
Have you been trusting God for a partner or a child and now you think you are so advanced in years and it will no longer happen ? Do you fear that time has left you behind ? Do you fear that the time to be blessed by God with your dream house is over ? Do you live in fear that nobody will ever congratulate you for success in life because the time for God to bless you has passed ? I want to lift up your spirit today by encouraging you that it is not late yet for God to bless you.
“The Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the first half of his life.” Job 42:12 . Yes, in the second half of your life , in the twilight of your years, God can still bless you as he did to Job. DO NOT GIVE UP ON THAT DREAM. IT IS NEVER TOO LATE .
Romans 4 : 20 Abraham never staggered at the promise of God through unbelief. He was old and his body was weak and his wife , Sarah, was passed child-bearing age but he continued to believe God for the promised child. And he realized his dream.
ROMANS 4: 18-20 (NIV ) : 18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead–since he was about a hundred years old–and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God.
LEARN TO HOPE AGAINST ALL HOPE. DO NOT ALLOW SATAN TO GET YOU IN DISCOURAGEMENT MODE. CONTINUE PRAYING AND TRYING. You may never know. God may be lining up the right people, the right breaks and the right answers for you. God may be waiting for the most perfect time to open the windows of Heaven for you and start pouring down those blessings for you. It does not matter where you started. What matters is where you end.
“You will experience all these blessings IF you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in your towns and in the country. You will be blessed with many children and productive fields. You will be blessed with fertile herds and flocks. You will be blessed with baskets overflowing with fruit, and with kneading bowls filled with bread. You will be blessed wherever you go, both in coming and in going. The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you… And the Lord will bless everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain.” Deuteronomy 28:2-8 (NLT)
