President Koroma Inspects Sierra Leone Embassy

As part of his itinerary on the margins of the 26th Ordinary Session of the African Union, President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma Friday 29 January made a conducted tour of the construction site of the Sierra Leone Embassy in Bole, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The building, almost in its completion stage will be completed in the next six months if the remaining funds are allocated , the contractor stated.
The ultra modern structure also comprise an ambassadors’ residence and a VIP Lounge for Sierra Leone delegates and guests.

President Koroma expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far and made firm commitment that government will provide the required financial support to complete the project in record time.

The remaining work needed for the completion are fixing the ambassador’s residence,the VIP Lounge, electrical fittings among others.

The four storey building also comprise an entrance lobby, offices, library, VIP Lounge, resting room for the ambassador, toliets and stores.

It is worthy to note that the vicinity of the new embassy is surrounded by other embassies.

This development comes as no surprise as tangible infrastructural development has been a trademark of President Koroma’s government since 2007.
