President Bio has sacked his Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Anthony Brewah hours after a photo of him and a convict who was controversially pardoned leaked on social media.
The President has appointed Mohamed Lamin Tarawally, who until his appointment was the Solicitor General, the Principal Assistant to the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, and the Professional Head of the Law Officers Department.Tarawally is the fourth Attorney-General and Minister of Justice to be appointed by President Bio in three years after Charles Margai, Priscilla Schwartz, and Anthony Brewah.
President Bio Appoints New Attorney General and Minister of Justice and the removal from office of Anthony Brewa have not been made public but many people believe it could be connected with the release of murderer, LAC Moiforay from prison.
Mohamed Lamin Tarawalley has been appointed as Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
President Bio is on track. He hasn’t only revoked the presidential clemency, but has also started punishing the rogues that led him into the terrible error.
Those who manifested solidarity with Moiforay are said to be worried. Bravo President Bio! If anyone ate mass mass to influence the release of the convict, it’s a shame.

A photo of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Anthony Brewah who is a member of the Prerogative of Mercy Committee, and the Minister of Information and Communications, Mohamed Rahman Swaray with Baimba Moiforay (LAC) who was controversially granted presidential pardon has emerged.
President Bio yesterday revoked the presidential pardon that was granted to LAC on January 1st and announced that an investigation will be instituted.
State House Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesman, Yusuf Keketoma Sandi said on public radio earlier today that the process to grant pardon to Moiforay was irregular and flawed. The Prerogative of Mercy Committee did not meet certain criteria and these are the issues that will be investigated by the Investigation Committee that are yet to be made public.
