Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister arrives in the United States

SIERRA LEONE’S FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER ARRIVES IN UNITED STATES

Sierra Leone’s newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prof. David J. Francis has arrived in the United States of America on an official visit to discuss the paradigm shift of the country’s foreign policy.

Sierra Leone has moved its Foreign Policy agenda from Economic Diplomacy to Development Diplomacy after gains made in human capital development, fight against corruption, respect for the rule of law and human rights.

Whilst in the United States, Prof. David J. Francis will meet State Department officials, Department of Homeland Security, Millennium Challenge Cooperation, United States Treasury, Chamber of Commerce, Department of Defense, CCA, Peace Corps, the Sierra Leone diaspora community, and other very important institutions of State.
