As a result of the present public healthย emergency, the Government of Sierra Leoneย through the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, ย hereby inform the general publicย that as part of efforts to combat the Ebolaย outbreak at constituency levels has released the Constituency Development Fund for financial yearย 2014 amounting to Le 7.8 billion (seven billion andย eight hundred million Leones) to enableย Honourable Members of Parliament provideย oversight leadership and contribute to the fightย against the Ebola Disease in their respective constituencies.
In additional, Honourable Paramount Chiefs andย Members of Parliament will support theย implementation of the Chiefdom bye-laws in collaboration with the Paramount Chiefs in theย irrespective districts.
