Recently , the drowning opposition in Sierra Leone snatched at another straw when the Bloomberg news service erroneously wrote that President Ernest Koroma was the Chairman of the Koidu Holdings Company.
Opposition elements and detractors went on the rampage in the social media, levying all kinds of allegations against the President, who has no dealings with the Company.
Now , Bloomberg has realized their error and have apologized to President Koroma .

“On a separate company profile page provided to Bloomberg by a third party, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, was listed as President of Koidu Holdings Sa. We now understand this information to be erroneous and have since directed the removal of that page from the Bloomberg site. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.”
