Sierra Leone Protesters in Germany Beat Up SLPP Govt Hypocrites Landing One in Hospital

Sierra Leoneans protesting against deportation from Germany have beaten up some govt hypocrites who work in the Sierra Leone Embassy in Berlin.Among those belaboured is the Information Attache at the Sierra Leone Embassy in Germany one Idrissa Hilton Gogra.
He is presently getting treatment in a German hospital much to the happiness of the protesters. The other Embassy officials ambushed had to flee for their lives. Amid the heat of the mass demonstrations in Munich by disgusted Sierra Leoneans who have been targetted for deportation next month and in December, the protesters could not bear to see the faces of the hypocritical SLPP government officials from the Sierra Leone Embassy coming to talk to them. “They are hypocrites.
They are the same SLPP government people who connived with the German government to deport us. They have no business to come here after they had refused to talk to us or even take our phone calls earlier on before the demonstrations started,” an angry Sierra Leone woman protesting in Munich told the Organiser newspaper. (Photo: Idrissa Hilton Gogra, the Information Attache, the hypocrite in hospital). Sierra Leone’s leading social media activist and broadcaster Mr Will Kamara, popularly known as Adebayor based in Holland, was also present in Munich last week to protest with his brothers and sisters.
He had this warning: “We wanted to see President Bio himself here and we would have beaten him up like nobody’s business. This government is just wicked to us,” Adebayor blasted. Reports have also revealed that protesters have made it clear that they are not criminals and went on to blast the ruling SLPP government for describing them as criminals. “The SLPP government of President Julius Maada Bio has shown total lack of compassion and love for its compatriots by continuing to describe the innocent Sierra Leoneans presently fighting against deportation from Germany as ‘criminals’.
This is unacceptable and the President should apologise now for insulting us,” disgusted Sierra Leoneans in Munich said.Political observers believe it is also irresponsible for the SLPP Media in Sierra Leone spoon-fed by the failed SLPP government to unleash lies and innuendoes against the suffering Sierra Leoneans in Germany by deliberately distorting the facts surrounding the circumstances unfolding in Germany. Investigations have revealed that the government in Freetown is not sincere to protect its citizenry as they continue to twist the truth about the real situation on the ground in Munich.
A recent Sierra Leone Embassy press release disclosed that the Sierra Leone government’s verification of citizens in Germany was meant to look for people who had falsely acquired Sierra Leone documents and passports to impersonate as Sierra Leoneans but who in fact are criminals dealing in drugs and engaged in other criminal activities.
Well-meaning Sierra Leoneans definitely welcome such a patriotic move by the government to weed out the impersonators. (Photos: Sierra Leone protesters and a German Christian leader Stefan consoling the demonstrators). But what the majority of Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad could not accept is the generalisation of all the Sierra Leoneans in Germany in the same criminal bracket.
This is precisely what the SLPP government and their hopeless media agents have been saying against the thousands of innocent Sierra Leoneans demonstrating against the dubious deportation orders by the German government in connivance with President Bio’s failed government in Freetown. “We support the SLPP government’s plans to verify everyone with Sierra Leone documents in Germany and to make sure the impersonators are punished according to the law. In the same token, genuine Sierra Leoneans with Sierra Leone documents or not should be given diplomatic assistance to continue their lives as normal in Germany rather than put the impersonators and innocent Sierra Leoneans in the same criminal brouhaha.
Sadly, what is unfolding today in Germany is nothing less than President Bio and his government punishing us. This is wrong,” irate demonstrators at the Munich protesting site noted. Around two thousand innocent Sierra Leone protesters in Munich have been told that President Bio had personally signed the deportation papers with the German government since 2019 after having been given millions of US dollars to facilitate the acceptance of Sierra Leone deportees upon arrival in Freetown. Reports say the Sierra Leone government agreed to sign the deportation papers for selfish reasons, while other African countries like the Gambia, Ghana, etc. said NO to the Germans.
Many external stakeholders in Germany like the Refugee Council and the leader of a Christian Organisation have confirmed that President Bio gave his consent to inflict mayhem on the innocent Sierra Leoneans. Observers believe President Bio is not serious about catching impersonators but rather interested only in making money to the detriment of the people.
