The Publisher of the Cocorioko Newspaper, Ambassador Wilfred Leeroy Kabs- Kanu received two different awards from two different organizations last weekend.
The first award was given to the Publisher by the All People’s Congress ( APC ) New Jersey Chapter during a jampacked and colorful Executive Inauguration Ceremony at the Rutgers University Cook Campus Students Centre last Saturday.
The award was given in recognition for the ambassador’s passion and commitment to the Chapter, one of the most vibrant in the United States.
Two days later, non- political organization —United 4 Sierra Leone in collaboration with SVTV –gave the Ambassador a certificate of recognition for his service to the community.
The Ambassador has now received about 20 different awards for outstanding journalism and community service .
He wishes to thank the two organizations for recognizing his contributions to the society at large.
