Fantastic Reception at UN Amid the Historic Visit of Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide
By Abu Shaw in New York (25/10/2023)
The United Nations Security Council UNSC rolled out the welcome mat to allow officials of Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide to march on.
Yesterday, history to restore the people’s mandate in Sierra Leone was made at the United Nations Security Council. Representatives from Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide CSLW comprising three gallant female social media activists and seven fearless male social media activists visited the UNSC head office in New York. The patriotic CSLW Sierra Leoneans were hosted for the first time by the United Nations Security Council officials responsible for the West African sub-region. For over two intensive hours of deliberation, the host patiently and attentively listened to the complaints presented by Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide ranging from the fraudulent electoral polls on June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections to the innumerable human rights abuses and crimes against humanity against innocent citizens since 2018 committed by dodgy Presidential Guards. This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate to this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone. The Chairman of the Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide Dr Alfred Venod Fullah, who presented the petition complaints to the Head of the UN West African Division Madam Jacqueline Seck, Dr Fullah eloquent outlined the electoral fraud and synopsis of the dreaded violations in Sierra Leone which captivated the attention of the UN representatives. Dr Fullah pinpointed the red flag on the horizon and potential signs of another bloody civil conflict in Sierra Leone if prompt decisive and correct actions are not taken now by the United Nations to ameliorate the volatile situation in Sierra Leone. Dr Fullah noted: “Our people in Sierra Leone who rely on us in the Diaspora to fight for their freedom of expression etc. are very tired and disappointed and getting impatient with the SLPP regime of the illegal President Maada Bio.” This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate for this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone.
In addition, Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide no-nonsense social media activist Mr Imran Turay aka Imran T released the bombshell by accusing both the SLPP regime and the main opposition APC party of connivance against the people’s wishes. The eloquent Imran T noted in a silent but attentive room: “We are very concerned that the opposition APC party has lost its focus on defending the rights of citizens but instead colluding with the illegitimate SLPP regime to undermine the interests of the voters.” For her part, social media activist Madam Salamatu Kamara added that she was equally concerned about the level of violence and extrajudicial killings in Sierra Leone against peaceful Sierra Leoneans. She disclosed that the SLPP and APC parties have recently signed a communique which included among other things, the nefarious plans by the Bio regime to stop the freedom of expression and protests through the ridiculous cybercrime. “They are targeting us in the Diaspora after succeeding in stopping our people back home from exercising their democratic rights,” Salamatu stressed. This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate to this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone. As for journalist Abu Shaw, he quickly threw light on the dubious Bio presidency for misusing the Non-Permanency status of Sierra Leone at the UN Security Council by hiding under it to carry out heinous crimes against innocent citizens and disturbing the peace and security of the nation. He advised the UN to pay keen attention to this complaint and make sure that the name of Sierra Leone is not misused to undermine democracy. From the 23rd floor of the UNSC edifice where the meeting took place, the Officer in Charge of Western Africa Division, Department of Political and Peace-building Affairs Jacqueline Seck, who personally welcomed the Sierra Leone delegation, expressed delight and promised that the petition complaint would be delivered to her principals who have sent them to receive and hear from Concerned Sierra Leones Worldwide. This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate to this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone.
Madam Jacqueline Seck, who hails from Senegal, clearly told the officials of Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide what they want to hear: “I thank you and I promise that your petition will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities including the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel UNOWAS, Leonardo Santos Simão.” Also present at the deliberation yesterday was the United Nations Political Affairs Officer Western Africa Division Departments of Political and Peace-building Affairs and Peace Operations (DPPA/DPO Mr Riccardo Alfieri who silently took notes from behind his laptop recording what was said by both parties. Dr Fullah, who handed over the petition letter to Madam Seck warned of an imminent civil war in Sierra Leone if the United Nations does not take the lead and intervene now to curb the political and electoral disaster unfolding in the country. This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate to this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone.
Veteran journalist and publisher Reverend Leeroy Wilfred Kanu advised that the situation in Sierra Leone is volatile and urgent action is needed now to stop the ongoing mayhem and to prevent potential future conflicts. Irrespective of the recent hopeless political events in Sierra Leone especially after the signing of the porous Peace and Unity Communique by both the illegal SLPP regime and the main opposition APC party, Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide – in collaboration with the People’s Power in Politics PPP – will not relent in its pursuit to usher democratic governance in Sierra Leone. Yesterday’s presentation of the petition complaint to the UN and the State Department regarding the fraudulent electoral processes among other heinous crimes against humanity under the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio, Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide is ever determined inside and outside Sierra Leone to restore the people’s mandate that was publicly stolen by Maada Bio and his gang of SLPP electoral bandits. This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate to this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone. Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide first delivered the historic complaint petition to the United Nations Security Council and later to the US Department. The complaint petition primarily centred on the fraudulent June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections which the illegal SLPP President Julius Maada Bio in connivance with the crook Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone ECSL Chairman Mr Mohamed Kenewui Konneh stole from the real winner Dr Samura Kamara of the APC party. Ten representatives who were officially selected – with the blessing of King Adebayor, Sierra Leone’s most famous social media activist of Love Salone Lef Bad Heart and PPP fame – to represent Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide successfully presented the petition to the United Nations and the US Department yesterday. This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate to this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone.
Four Sierra Leoneans based in the United Kingdom met with the six other patriotic Sierra Leoneans based in the United States. Those from the UK included Dr Alfred Venod Fullah, an International Criminal Lawyer; Madam Salamatu Kamara, a social media activist and PPP; Mr Ahmed Imran Turay (Imran T), a social media activist and Mr Abu Shaw, the journalist and social media activist. The Sierra Leoneans based in the United States included six representatives who were part of yesterday’s presentation of the petition. They included veteran journalist, Ambassador and social media activist Reverend Leeroy Wilfred Kanu aka Kabs Kanu; Mr Yusufu Conteh, the social media activist and PPP; Madam Esther Sesay, the social media activist; Marliyatu Jalloh, the social media activist; Mr Ishmael Albert Hedd, the social media activist, and Mr Egerton Davies, the social media activist. The struggle to restore the June 24 mandates continues unabated until the prize is won. This visit became a reality thanks in no small way to the King of social media Adebayor whose advocacy spurred many Sierra Leoneans to donate to this patriotic agenda to restore the people’s votes in Sierra Leone.
