The Publisher of the COCORIOKO Newspaper, Ambassador Wilfred Leeroy Kabs-Kanu, has thanked the All People’s Congress USA for honoring him during their 2023 District Summit in Virginia , USA. He was given a plaque and a medal for outstanding journalism and for promoting the cause of the APC.
It must be recalled that Ambassador Kabs-Kanu was one of the 9 personalities honored by the APC during the Summit.
Ambassador Kanu, in a note sent to the Secretary General of the APC USA, Mr. Alimamy Turay, said he was very appreciative of the honor given him by the APC, which shows that the party highly appreciates his efforts. He said he appreciates the award especially because he was receiving tremendous verbal abuse and threats from supporters of the ruling SLPP.
This is the 13th award Ambassador Kabs0Kanu has received in his life for journalism.
