President Bio’s TV Interviews Likened to a Calamitous Auctioneer Trying to Fool Buyers

President Julius Maada Bio’s interviews on SLBC and AYV televisions on Wednesday are likened to a rickety and failed auctioneer deceiving buyers.
“Who are President Bio and his caboodle fooling? They are just exposing their total ignorance of the hardships their corrupt SLPP government has brought on the people of this country,” a top business exporter and importer in Freetown blasted. The interviews on SLBC and AYV televisions on Wednesday sounded like a poor salesman trying to auction spoilt commodity lack sanity and the reality in the country. It is like a sinking government trying to defend the indefensible.
Celebrating three years of nothingness, embedded in corruption and crimes against humanity, President Bio and his inept Information Minister Mohamed Rahman Swaray, the Minister for Basic Education Dr David Sengeh, and the Finance Minister Jacob Jusu Saffa, have disgraced themselves on live television twisting and neglecting facts and figures in order to convince the suffering Sierra Leoneans that ‘All is Well’.
“The SLPP government thinks we are fools. We are suffering today more than ever in the country due to poor economic mismanagement, rife corruption in high places, and human rights violations since April 4, 2018. For the President and his SLPP caboodle to twists the facts rather than apologise for the ongoing misappropriation of public funds is disgusting. They are taking us for granted. We are not fools. We know what is happening. We are feeling the pinch unlike the SLPP government officials, their families, and friends,” a vexed petty trader at Dove Cut Market blasted yesterday.
Another concerned citizen summarises Bio’s calamitous TV performances: “The Sierra Leone leader engaged the AYV and the SLBC Televisions whose managements are still serving as hypocrites to the people of Sierra Leone. They continue to fail to discharge their media obligations objectively President Bio needed a thorough and heavy engagement because the country has faced so many difficulties through his negative Executive Orders and PR press releases in the past three years.
“The majority of Sierra Leoneans are not happy. The strength of Maada Bio’s English grammar was very weak and his articulate aptitude cannot be matched to any former President of Sierra Leone. In totality, Bio failed to eloquently showcase his cognitive and emotional intelligence potential, but rather position our country as a laughing stock. No tangible pointer was provided as an achievement to the people of Sierra Leone on Education, Health, Energy, Infrastructure, Democracy, Trade, etc. His answers to most of the questions were – they are work in progress.” The Sierra Leone Telegraph newspaper has more details as follows –
