Presidential guards brutalize new APC Secretary General and entourage on orders of President Bio (According to the guards ) as Police fire gas to disperse other supporters in the city

Lawyer Lansana Dumbuya, who was elected Secretary General of the opposition All People’s Congress ( APC ) last Sunday, has complained to the international community to take action to forestall catastrophy in Sierra Leone. According to videos handed to the COCORIOKO  newspaper, the warning came after ugly incidents in the caital yesterday .

According to the complainants President Maada Bio was directly involved as his security,  like a monkeys that do not leave their black hands behind, showed their true colours again yesterday in Sierra Leone by committing egregious human rights abuses during the welcoming rally for the newly-elected APC presidential flagbearer, Dr. Samura Kamara.

The newly-elected Secretary General of the APC, Lawyer Lansana Dumbuya and his entourage which included his driver and Personal assistant were dragged out of his car at a checkpoint by the Presidential Lodge, Hill Station, where they were driving past, dragged into the Lodge and given merciless beatings. The men  said that they did nothing to deserve the beatings. They were just driving past.

As could be heard from the video above, the violent presidential guards told the APC scribe and party that they were instructed by President Maada Bio to beat them. They were badly beaten up and one of the men is in a critical condition.

According to the APC Scribe, they were driving past the Presidential Lodge when they were stopped at a checkpoint installed by guards and taken inside and assaulted. The guards repeatedly told them they were doing it on the instructions of President Bio, even after Mr. Dumbuya introduced himself formally.

The beatings aggravated the vanguard of the APC and some members produced videos and audios warning the SLPP  not to push the APC  to the wall, otherwise they will fight back.

There were other incidents in different parts of the city where the Police fired teargas on dancing supporters of Dr. Samura Kamara. In a tweet himself, Dr. Kamara made a public complaint about the beating of the Secretary General.

Also victimized yesterday by SLPP -controlled security was the Mayor of Freetown, Mrs. Yvonne Aki-Sawyer, who and his entourage were also stopped at a checkpoint and after interrogation had her laptop seized by the presidential guards.
