RSLAF and Sierra Leone Police personnel complete training at United Arab Emirates

*RSLAF and SLP Personnel complete training in the United Arab Emirates*

The first batch of personnel from the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces, RSLAF, and the Sierra Leone Police, SLP, has today completed a ten-week security development training in the United Arab Emirates, UAE.

In his address at the event, Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the UAE, Rashid Sesay congratulated the graduates for successfully completing the training adding that the exercise would prepare them to perform their daily duties with improved skills. He expressed appreciation for the level of discipline and professionalism they had exhibited during the last ten weeks and encouraged them to continue such virtues by serving as goodo examples upon their return.

He added: “You have to put what you have learnt into practice and I am sure with this training, you will be able to deliver on your mandates. On behalf of the Government of Sierra Leone, I extend sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Government of the UAE for providing the support.”

The training started on the 15th February, 2022 and according to the instructors, the general performance was impressive and satisfactory. Awards were also presented to the best performing officers.
