The Story of Juldeh, Sengeh, and President Bio

President Julius Maada Bio embraced Mohamed Juldeh as a trusted political partner, presenting him as a respected Fullah man and elevating his profile to mobilize Fullah votes and support during the elections.
But after the elections were won, the political dynamics shifted.
The President brought in his brother from the same south east constituency, David Moinina Sengeh, positioning him strategically between himself and the Fullah Vice President, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh.
Today, Juldeh is left questioning his place and purpose:
Why is this happening to me? Am I not the Vice President?
What was once partnership now feels like political sidelining. The episode raises deeper questions about power, loyalty, ethnic balancing, and the difference between symbolic inclusion and real authority in Sierra Leone’s governance.
We will see this same politics in 2028!
