ANOTHER AWARD FOR AMBASSADOR BARNETTThe Republic of Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia who is also accredited to the Republic of La Cote D’ivoire has received a religious award from the St. Peter’s Lutheran church in Monrovia.BARNET AWARD 1 

Ambassador Barnett together with three other Pastors from the Lutheran Mission in Monrovia received awards during this year’s Pastors appreciation day at a crowded congregation recently at the Sinkor St. peters’ Lutheran Church in Monrovia. Being the only female pastor for this years’ award, Ambassador Barnett was colourfully decorated and praised by speakers at the ceremony for what many referred to as faithful servant of God. Dr. Barnett was also commended for her relentless role in support of women and bringing peace to not only the Lutheran Family but also other Christian missions and communities within her jurisdiction.

In a related ceremony, Ambassador Rev. Dr. Marie Jilo Barnett received an award and a gift of recognition from the Sierra Leone Progressive association residing in Liberia. Presenting the award and gift on behalf of the Association at Dr. Barnett’s Chancery were Daniel K. Sesay and Ibrahim Gbla
