Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Presidential candidate , Maada Bio , is being ridiculed in the Sultanate of Oman where he was invited by the Al Azman Group of Companies to engage in negotiations for Sierra Leone’s natural resources , though he is not the legal authority for such negotiations. While in Oman, Bio tried to act presidential by making official pronouncements about Sierra Leone’s diplomatic status with the Sultanate. He said that Sierra Leone and Oman had not yet established diplomatic relations and discussions were presently going on for both countries to share representatives.

It turned out that Maada Bio was talking nonsense because Sierra Leone had long established diplomatic relations with Oman and Ambassador Wusu Munu is Sierra Leone’s envoy accredited to Oman.

We bring you the full report of the presentation of credentials by Ambassador Munu to the Sultan of Oman.
