The All People’s Congress ( APC ) again buried one of her own yesterday—The former Deputy Ambassador to the Gambia, Madam Oryah Sankoh , who was laid to rest at her hometown of Yele , the chiefdom headquarters of Gbonkolenken, Tonkolili District.
According to reports, some of the mourners at the funeral, including the Secretary General of the party, Ambassador Osman Yansaneh, called for prayers for members of the party because of the shocking death in recent times of members, who included veteran politicians Abdul Iscandari and Leslie Allen Sr.

Madam Sankoh left the Gambia for Freetown on Sunday March 19 and arrived in Sierra Leone the next day to take part in the voters registration but suddenly died on Tuesday March 21 at the Jui Hospital after suffering a sudden attack.
