Hon. Minister Dr. Sylvia Blyden is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with Mrs. Maude Peacock, the President of Women’s Forum , attending the African Union’s 4th High Level Panel on Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment; a two day event being hosted on the margins of the 29th AU Heads of State Summit.
Later today (June 29th 2017), there will also a special interactive meeting of Africa’s Gender Ministers to be hosted on theme: “Accelerating Actions to End Child Marriage in Africa”.
