Fellow Sierra Leoneans, our president (Maada Bio) took a private licensed airline to attend a “virtual meeting ” in London at the detriment of taxpayers in the nation.
Virtual meeting are real time interactions that take place over the internet using integrated audio and video, chat tools, and applications sharing. What is the economic importance of such a meeting, particularly when Sierra Leone is saddle or besieged by massive POVERTY across the country.
Ridiculously, the naive or myopic supporters of this administration always point to the bad examples of the previous administration led by former president Earnest Bai Koroma.
Since independence Sierra Leone is still grappling with severe POVERTY 75% ,institutionalized corruption, state sponsored thuggery and violence against peaceful citizens,extrajudicial killings and unprecedented demonstrations of religious hypocrisy. 60 years of self determination Sierra Leone can’t even fund its own electoral process,thoughtless of feeling its own people hmmmmm.
Just last week,I discovered what is causing the algae that continue blooming in our ocean waters and pushing the waste offshore ,making our lumley beach area so shabby looking. Because, the entire Freetown area doesn’t have a waste management system; dumping human waste into the ocean will enrich the water with nitrogen dioxide and phosphorus thereby causing the algae to continue blooming and pushing the waste offshore .
This is the Kabia factor responding on the president extravagant travel to London.

President Julius Maada Bio has done it again – lying and deceiving the people of Sierra Leone.
President Bio chattered a private plane (Jet) and traveled to London, UK on Sunday 25th July for a week with his wife and children just to attend a virtual meeting.
It costs the people of Sierra Leone for the Lineage Private Jet Charter Flight so that President Bio and his family can travel to London, the total sum of $300 000 (Le3Billion).
This amount doesn’t include the 5 Star Hotel bills, food and other spending logistics for the president, his family and Twelve (12) entourage.
Not to mention the daily per diem for the week travel.
The total cost for the President Bio mini vacation at this dire moment is $520,000 (Le5Billion & 300Million Leones).
I am putting up a challenge to President Bio and his government to publicly publish the cost of his trip to the UK of they want to dispute this amount of Le5.3Billion ($520,000(
The people of Sierra Leone will be the Judges in the upcoming 2023 elections to decide if you serve them well.
