Opposition Politician Charged, Refused Bail, Sent to Prison for Criticising the Failed Bio

A classical example of a politically motivated witch-hunt by the failed SLPP regime against an innocent opposition APC politician has taken place again.
Sierra Leoneans woke up yesterday morning amid reports that a top opposition politician in the name of Mr Ibrahim Kemoh Sesay has been apprehended and put in police custody at the Criminal Investigations Department CID in Freetown. His only crime was simply criticising the failings and maladministration of the most corrupt President Sierra Leone has ever witnessed in President Julius Maada Bio. A few days later, the usual ‘Orders from Above’ i.e. the Office of the President, ordered the brutal Sierra Leone Police Chief to arrest and detain Mr Kemoh Sesay. Yesterday, the APC politician Mr Kemoh Sesay, who is not a very healthy man with a residual stroke, was charged to court on charges of Cyber Bullying the President. A ridiculous charge indeed by any democratic standard! But this is Sierra Leone today under the autocracy of President Bio, whose regime continues to lie and mislead every stakeholder that they are a democracy. My foot! Mr Kemoh Sesay merely opposed, and rightly so, the Bio presidency for destroying the socio-economic fabric in the country in the last four years. The Sierra Leone opposition APC politician Kemoh Sesay however appeared in court yesterday, refused bail, and then sent to the notorious Pademba Road Prisons in Freetown. Reports say Mr Ibrahim Kemoh Sesay was arraigned in court on one count charge of Cyber Stocking and Bullying against the President, according to police sources. The former APC Government Minister in President Ernest Koroma’s government is represented by top Lawyers Lansana Dumbuya, Saidu Bangura Esq, Melron Nicol Esq, and Alimamy Sesay Esq. No one opposes President Bio today and goes scot-free. This country has never seen a President who is so callous and power-hungry. He is a far worse leader than the leaders in Communist countries like North Korea, China, and Russia. In short, President is a tyrant, a dictator, and very undemocratic. Sierra Leone under President Bio is not a democracy by any stretch of the imagination. Democracy died after President Koroma. Maada Bio is hiding under the so-called democracy to unleash mayhem and intimidation on all critics, including opposing politicians and even on ordinary citizens. President Bio is one of the most hypocritical political leaders that Sierra Leone has ever produced. Today, the SLPP government is parading around the world with lies that Sierra Leone under President Bio is democratic. It is not. What we have in Sierra Leone today under the Bio presidency, is a totalitarian and police state which is the reality on the ground. There are no civil liberties, no human rights, no freedom of expression, no freedom of the press and citizens do not have the right to exercise their fundamental rights due to President Bio’s vengeance and tribal politics. The arrest and detention of the APC political heavyweight Kemoh Sesay is a continuation of Maada Bio’s tyranny. President Bio’s political nakedness and barbarism were laid bare a few months ago when the European Union EU rightfully outlined that the people of Sierra Leone no longer trust the Police, Parliament, and the Judiciary. The EU has been proven correct times without number. The Voice of Evangelist Samson aka the APC Media Field Marshal General CEO TAGMeN Chairman AASMeG broke the news yesterday and confirmed that it was 100% confirmed that the Inspector General of Police Ambrose Michael Sovulla of SLPP Paopa Dominion University fake degree holder had arrested and detained Hon. Kemoh Sesay since Wednesday.
It is official that President Bio does not believe in the rule of law, he does not believe in constitutionality, and he does not believe in parliamentary democracy. Instead, he believes in violence, corruption, tribalism, state-sponsored killings, and so on. APC social media activist Evangelist Samson has more details in his latest audio on May 5, 2022: “Greetings to all APCians, this is the voice of Evangelist Samson, the APC Media Team Marshall General. Confirm information has reached my desk to say Honourable Kemoh Sesay, the former flag-bearer for the APC party, is at the Criminal Investigations Department CID in Freetown where he spent the night and he was there since this morning. According to the police, Kemoh Sesay was arrested because he made a statement inside Port Loko District in northern Sierra Leone a few weeks ago. And according to the police, the statement was an inciting statement but mind you there are many people inside the SLPP ruling party who had made statements in the past more fearful than Kemoh Sesay’s recent statement. People like the present Deputy Internal Affairs Minister Lahai Lawrence Leema, and the Resident Minister North Abu Abu Koroma. Look at what the SLPP Minister Abu Abu did in Makeni telling people in 2020 that his SLPP government would kill people who protested or criticise President Bio. Abu Abu’s threat was implemented and innocent protesters, all young men were gunned down and died as a result of police brutality a few days later in Makeni. “The President did not issue a press release to condemn or indict his brutal SLPP Minister North Abu Abu Koroma up to this day. Look at again what Austin Johnny, an SLPP Young Generation Leader said some months ago. An SLPP thug Joseph Austin Johnny, who is a National Youth Leader and Executive Official of the SLPP, uttered all kinds of violent threats against the APC party like threats to kill the former President Ernest Koroma, and all other former APC government officials and their families. But the SLPP police headed by the Inspector General of Police Ambrose Michael Sovulla never invited Austin Johnny. But because Kemoh Sesay is an APC official that is the primary reason why the unprofessional police, on the instructions from President Bio, had been apprehended and locked up. That is why today Kemoh Sesya is behind bars at the CID. And as I am talking to you, Minkailu Mansaray, who is the Deputy Leader of the APC party, Alhaji Osman Foday Yansaneh who is the National Secretary-General of the APC, Honourable Chernor Maju Bah, the leader of the APC in Parliament and others were on their way to the CID. We the APC Grassroots are calling on the SLPP government to release Honourable Kemoh Sesay. You need to release him with immediate effect.

SLPP blokes like Minister Abu Abu who said despicable things like killing people in Makeni and it happened, nothing was done. Joseph Austin Johnny’s threat was all over social media but the police never arrested let alone indict them. We know the Police Chief is trying to satisfy his boss President Bio that is why he is misbehaving like this. Please APCians, this is the message and it is a confirmed source. The arrest and detention of the APC political heavyweight Kemoh Sesay is a continuation of Maada Bio’s tyranny. President Bio came to power on April 4, 2018, to suppress and humiliate the voters and destroy this nation. No development so far has been forthcoming under President Bio. This failed government has captured all state institutions. President Bio is in absolute control of the Police, the Judiciary, the Electoral Commission, the Military, and every state institution that is supposed to be neutral is in the pockets of President Bio. Where is democracy? It is a crime for citizens to oppose President Bio and his corrupt SLPP regime. Arrests and detentions would result if anyone dare criticise the ‘Almighty Maada Bio’. A sad state of affairs today in Sierra Leone and that is why the international community must come to rescue the people of Sierra Leone. Incarcerating opposition politicians is an ongoing process under Maada Bio. President Bio has unjustly jailed the outspoken leader of the Alliance Democratic Party ADP Mr Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray since 2020 who is still in jail on very ridiculous rape charges to keep him quiet.
