APC new Cabinet Announcement:
According to a very reliable source in Freetown, president Ernest Bai Koroma released Monday what appears to be an incomplete list of cabinet ministers to run the country for the next five years if there is no reshuffle.
All of the new appointees have never held cabinet positions and have clean backgrounds according to reports we are receiving.
At least two of them, the new Health minister, Dr. Soccoh Kabia, son of the late Bai Koblo Pathbana of Lunsar and Madam Ella Koblo Gulama of Moyamba and Mr. Saad,an engineer, are PMDC members. Saad is the new Works minister.
Zainab Bangura(pictured), the new Foreign minister, is a household name in Sierra Leone with a background in insurance and civil society activism. She was until recently a senior member of the UN mission in Liberia. Here is the list:
1. Minister of Finance and Economic Development: David Carew.
2. Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation: Zainab Bangura.
3. Attorney General and Minister of Justice: Abdul Serry Kamal.
4. Minister of Information and Broadcasting: Alhaji Ibrahim Ben Kargbo.
5. Minister of Mineral Resources: Alhaji Abubakarr Jallloh.
6. Minister of Health: Dr.Soccoh Kabia.
7. Minister of Agriculture: Dr. Sam Sesay.
8. Minister of Presidential and Public Affairs: Alhaji Alpha Kanu.
9. Minister of Works and Housing – John N. Saad.
10. Minister of Lands: Benjamin O.N. Davies.
More ministers will be named during the week.
Is Ernest Cabinet a game of bait and switch?

I have this gut feeling that we will be shocked by the next round of ministers appointed..
This stems from the fact that the ones annointed so far are in my humble opinion..all are too too squeakly clean.. APC is not know for this level of sophistry and they cant be this saintly… its ingenetic and they are allergic to such good and candid style of governance..
This takes me to the jist of this thread..
I believe this was a bait.. a teaser.. a tester to guage the waters and see how the populace at large accepts the choices the NEW prezo makes (Prezo Koro)..
And from all indications… we are all biting this hook, lies and stinkers.. So far so good..
Except Hajj Money Khan who is the only one i can point finger and yell !!!!!!!!CHAP!!!!!!!!
NEXT round will come the victor foe’s and the APC kabudus, and the EKUTAY squad (binkolo 11)..since now we are all off guard and we all trust the “WISE” decisions of preso Koro..Even if we have to grumble, we can always self convince that the cabinet is a bit balance with the old and the new and the good might outweight the bad..
Good strategy APC..
I hope, and pray my gut feeling is wrong ..
If it is ..
I will publicly apologise to this forum.

Ah Candido. You will be pleasantly surprised that there is no bait and switch. We really are going to get a good cabinet that will be held to the highest standards of governance.
By the way, I believe that this is an interim government. Why? Because many of the ministers will succumb to the historical vices of politicians: bribery, corruption and incompetence. Unlike past governments, however, incompetent ministers will not be allowed to stay on and pollute the joint. This president will fire them faster than a bolt of lighting. He is extremely serious about making a difference and will not allow anyone to mess with his re-election and legacy. The next crop of dedicated ministers will be the real deal, the ones who stay. I therefore ask those who haven’t been called up, or wouldn’t make the cut in the next list, not to give up. Be patient if you really have been bitten by the public service bug.
One last thing. As someone who has been an internet warrior for President Ernest Koroma in different pseudonym brigades, I hope he takes into consideration that he is the president of a multi-tribal, multi regional democracy, when he releases the next list of ministers. I know I am going to catch some flack for this, but it will just make me feel much better if I see on the next list a lot more Vandys, Bockaris, Vambois, Massaquois, Forays, Sandys, Mannahs and other Southeastern names.
President Koroma is going to succeed and he is going to be the most successful president in our history. I will just like him to succeed with a cabinet of all the beautiful rainbow colors of our wonderful nation.
God Bless!
Kabudu!
