Benefits of the APC 2022 Constitution, Thanks to the NRM and ARM Comrades

It is worth noting that the fight which comrades took to bring in the new constitution should be embraced by all patriots of the APC Party. Comrades should not be seen as enemies but as real redeemers. Their actions have brought in many benefits to the APC family but this will be gradually acknowledged. Keenly understand the following:
DEMOCRACY
Democracy is said to be when the majority decides on a particular decision. Before now, most if not all decisions have been in the hands of few. Most sensitive decisions and popular candidates have been looked at wrongly. When you decide to voice out the wrongdoing, those in control will end by saying that: “You are not paying attention”. Examples of undemocratic processes; Removing symbols in the hands of rightful candidates, denying the choice of the majority in electing officers at all levels, and hand-picking of self-centred members into Communities and NAC. This made such individuals powerful without respecting the electorate. Today, the new constitution provides for electing members to NAC and other levels.
POPULARIZATION OF THE APC PARTY
The new constitution has brought the chances of the party to become more popular. This will easily happen when candidates visit electorates and abandoned Communities to vote for them. This will help those Communities to get more interest in the party. Before now, most people will not visit deprived Communities to campaign or do development but the new constitution will now forcefully mandate comrades to visit these places.
POPULARIZATION OF CANDIDATES BEFORE THE TIME
This is one of the key elements that needs to be embraced if not, we will end by repeating the 2018 popular question” U SABI AM?”. Before now, most politicians preferred presenting themselves to only the secretariat of the party forgetting the grassroots. Quite recently, it is noticed that candidates of all facets are now moving to the most deprived and disgusting members to earn votes. Note that this is helping all the candidates not only knowing the members and localities, but such members are now opportune to know them before the election.
EMBRACE JUSTICE IN GOVERNANCE
This will help us not to repeat the unfortunate action against the former Vice President Alhaji Chief Sam Sumana, Late Comrade Kadeh, etc in the name of the Anti-party. It will also help us not to repeat the act of the National Youth League under former President Bai Mahmoud Bangura on the illegal suspension saga of duly elected NUAS National President Comrade Momoh Flee. This only contributed to discouraging other comrades and dividing the young people. Now, the constitution provides provisions to follow before taking such a decision.
HELPS TO CHOOSE THE BEST CANDIDATE
During the process of candidates presenting themselves to electorates, it may allow them to examine and vote for the best. But before now, either some comrades will destroy others for a favour from the power it may or they give to close relatives against others who have suffered in diverse ways. The new constitution, allows everyone to sacrifice before attaining such an opportunity.
PROTECTION OF THE PARTY AGAINST INTRUDERS
Before now, most people who have been suffering for the party were left behind or neglected to hold on Position against the intruders especially after winning governance. E.G the Story of Abubakarr Kamara-Taylor and Musa Tarawally. Kamara-Taylor who was with the party during difficult moments turned down Musa Tarawally and we saw the negative effect. We also saw other young people who suffered for the party before 2007 but few were acknowledged and many were left out for the satisfaction of the intruders.
RESPECT FOR THE GRASSROOTS
Before now, the grassroots were only respected when they were needed to endorse the choice of the power it may but today, the new constitution has allowed you to elect your leaders. It has allowed high-level politicians to visit and respect you.
OPPORTUNITY TO ASPIRE
This constitution has allowed all comrades from every Sector to aspire for their desired position. Before now, many got the unconfident syndrome to aspire. This is because, many were discouraged either because of their little relationship with the cabal, tribe, or region. But at this juncture, the opportunity is here to aspire as long as you are qualified. However, many unpatriotic or self-centred comrades are misleading you to hate members of NRM and ARM because they still want to pollute the good work achieved. Again, some of you are unhappy because the NRM took the party to court and went further to get a lawyer out of APC Legal team. You need not hate such a decision.
This was the only opportunity for the provision of a democratic constitution and to further have a balance interim team that could establish a fear-level field for the election of our party officials. If the NRM would have taken any APC, Legal team member, the same cabal would have messed around the focus of having such a constitution to their advantage. Note, the bulk of the nullified executive wanted internally not to have the new constitution or even at that, wanted to indirectly maintain the same biased cabal that will end driving other comrades from the APC Party. If this nullified executive wanted to have a thorough democracy, they would have done that since 2007.
