An organization that knows what it is after and how to achieve results —– The Concerned Sierra Leoneans — have rattled illegitimate President Maada Bio from his self – assured ascendancy over the indecisive , clueless and disunited APC and fringe groups opposing his government but lacking the knowhow , leadership and spine to hold his feet to the fire.
It is the fearless CONCERNED SIERRA LEONEANS once again , my people, and they have stepped their feet once more in the right place and in the fray to make Maada Bio Maada Bio pay for stealing the 2023 elections .
Led by a man who is bold like a lion, serious and unpretentious about the struggle , Civil society leader Thomas Babadi, the Concerned Sierra Leoneans have given the ruling SLPP- controlled Elections Commission an ultimatum to produce the disaggregated results of the 2023 Presidential Elections by December 9 or face a peaceful demonstration on December 10.
The SLPP has stopped listening to the people . They were no longer listening to the people and the international community because they had dismissed them as non- consequential following the sellouts, compromises , betrayals , missteps, hypocrisy, cowardice and buyouts in the struggle .
However, when Thomas Babadi of the Concerned Sierra Leoneans spoke this time, Bio and his men knew they were hearing the voice of a man. Whereas in the past, the SLPP – controlled Police had dismissed requests for demonstration permits with levity, this time, they have invited Babadi and team to a roundtable conference at the CID, tomorrow Wednesday.
Thomas Babadi has rattled the SLPP like Adebayor and the People’s Power in Politics ( PPP ) — the other organization feared by Maada Bio — used to accomplish . Maada Bio knows that these two organizations, PPP and Concerned Sierra Leoneans are very radical ,decisive and gave strong, bold leaders whose voices resonate with the people.
The PPP and the Concerned Sierra Leoneans are two clever and radical organizations that believe in People’s Power and seek to tap on people’s power . Their modus operandi is different from disparate individuals and motely groups that had depend on ECOMOG from the days of Methuselah to come and do the job for them, an ECOMOG that was never in sync with them and failed to step foot in Sierra Leone. Waiting for ECOMOG has been like waiting for Godot.
When some of us warned that ECOMOG would never deliver electoral justice, rude and uncouth people rained insults and false allegations on us . Who has triumphed ? Whose assertions have come true ?
People’s Power is the only power feared by cowards and dictators like Maada Bio. God is going to prove us right that if electoral justice would ever be delivered in Sierra Leone, it will be done by People’s Power, not the compromised ECOMOG or the hypocritical international community.
We at COCORIOKO and the Concerned Sierra Leoneans of New Jersey call on all Sierra Leoneans to join the CSL to put pressures on the criminal Mohamed Konneh and the ECSL to produce the disaggregated results. Maada Bio should not be allowed to get away with the greatest elections robbery of our time.
In the cause of democracy , the struggle must continue in Sierra Leone through People’s Power until the final victory .
