A heartbreaking tragedy has claimed the lives of Fatmata Leigh, and her husband, Alhaji Adama Sowe, following a gruesome road accident along the Mile 91–Bo Road on Friday night.
The couple were heading to Bo City, to attend a naming ceremony when their private vehicle collided head-on with a fuel tanker traveling toward Freetown. The impact was devastating, claiming the lives of Fatmata and her husband instantly at the scene, family sources confirmed.
Fatmata Leigh, was preparing to complete the upcoming 2026 Hajj pilgrimage. The deceased are survived by three young children – two sons and a daughter, now faced with the heartbreaking reality of life without their parents.
