Fatima Bio standing in public todaya (25th/04/2026) preaching about an inclusive leadership under Julius Maada Bio is not just insulting, it is shameless political dishonesty.

Who exactly is she trying to fool?

Certainly not the majority of Sierra Leoneans. Certainly not APC members. And certainly not those of us who watched the humiliation unfold with our own eyes.

This is the same Fatima Bio who stood before cameras and openly complained that she was blocked from accessing the SLPP Party Office to host a women’s appreciation event in honour of her own husband, a man who doubles as both President of Sierra Leone and Leader of the SLPP.

Pause there and read that again carefully.

The wife of the SLPP leader, the First Lady of the Republic, could not gain access to her own party’s headquarters.

Not because outsiders stopped her. Not because APC stopped her. But because people within her husband’s own political establishment shut the gate on her.

And Sierra Leoneans did not hear this as rumour.

We saw the video, we heard the complaint directly from Fatima Bio herself, we saw the SLPP gate locked, we saw the iron chains across the entrance, and we saw the public embarrassment.

That was not inclusivity.

That was exclusion in its rawest and most disgraceful form. That was a physical and political blockade.

So now, months after, for this same Fatima Bio to suddenly appear in public praising Julius Maada Bio and SLPP leadership as models of inclusion is beyond hypocrisy, it is a desperate propaganda performance designed only for the most gullible supporters.

Because facts do not disappear by speechmaking.

Video evidence does not evaporate because of staged applause and propaganda message

History does not get erased because the “First Lady” chooses convenient amnesia.

The truth remains permanently written.

Fatima Bio, wife of the SLPP leader and First Lady, was denied access, blockaded, excluded, and publicly embarrassed by the very political family she now wants Sierra Leoneans to celebrate as inclusive.

So if the First Lady herself could be locked out, chained out, and politically sidelined within the SLPP structure, what inclusivity exactly is she talking about?

Inclusivity in speeches? Inclusivity in microphones?

Because clearly it is not inclusivity in practice.

This is the SLPP’s trademark style, unity in public statements, internal disaster in reality, smiles on podiums, but chains at the gate.

Fatima Bio can attempt to brainwash loyalists all she wants, but she cannot brainwash recorded facts. She cannot rewrite public humiliation. She cannot erase the visual evidence that Sierra Leoneans have already archived in their memories.

The nation saw a First Lady rejected by her own husband’s party machinery, and that singular incident destroyed every future SLPP sermon about internal democracy, harmony, inclusion, and togetherness.

What Fatima Bio is doing now is not defending inclusivity.

She is trying to perform CPR on a dead narrative.

But some political lies are too weak to resurrect.

This one died, as one reflect to the day the iron chains went across the SLPP gate.
