Hon. Mohamed Bangura Kicked Out Of ECOWAS Parliament

As we congratulate Honourable Abdul Kargbo and Honourable Mabinty Forna for being sworn in as Members of Parliament representing the All Peoples Congress Party in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament, it’s important to note that Honourable Mohamed Bangura, the defected APC Member of Parliament, is no longer a member of the ECOWAS Parliament.
The recent development in the ECOWAS Parliament, which led to the inauguration of the Opposition Leader in Sierra Leone’s Parliament – Honourable Abdul Kargbo and Honourable Mabinty Forna, has positioned the All Peoples Congress Party in the ECOWAS Parliament on a strong footing to bring issues of national interest to the doorstep of the ECOWAS Parliament.
As it stands, the Sierra Leone People’s Party has three representatives: Honourable Veronica Kadie Sesay, Honourable Emmerson Lamina, and Honourable Sheika Sama; while the All Peoples Congress Party has two representatives in the ECOWAS Parliament: Honourable Abdul Kargbo and Honourable Mabinty Forna.
