NEWS FLASH : MCC approves $44. 4 million for Sierra Leone Theshold Program

Sierra Leoneโ€™s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States, H.E. Bockarie Kortu Stevens, ย has just broken this good news to COCORIOKO.

The Board of Directors of the Millennium Challenge Corporation ( MCC ) at a regular meeting this morning has approved and advanced the MCC Threshold Program for Sierra Leone.

Allocated amount for this program is $ 44.4 million and will focus mainly on capacity building in the electricity and water management sectors , with the main focus on Freetown.
