It is with deep sorrow that I recently received the news of the passing of the esteemed Honorable Professor Dr. H. M Joko-Smart.
A luminary in the field of law, his impact was felt by colleagues and students alike, who revered him for his brilliance and inspirational teaching style. Personally, as one of his students for Equity and the Law of Trusts, I can attest to his captivating lectures and unforgettable sense of humor.
Professor Dr. Joko-Smart’s legacy will endure through the generations of legal scholars he has influenced. His absence at the Sierra Leone Law School will undoubtedly leave a void that cannot be easily filled. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.
May his soul find eternal peace and rest in a realm of everlasting bliss. Let us remember and honor the profound contributions of Professor Dr. Joko-Smart to the legal community and beyond.
