Mrs. Isatu Timbo-Nwokedi, Goodwill Ambassador and Honorary Consul in California, has expressed Independence Anniversary greetings to the Government and the people of Sierra Leone.
On the occasion of Sierra Leone’s 61st Independence Anniversary, Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi , said she was elated to greet the Government and the people, wishing them God’s continued blessings and guidance as they chart the way forward to a better future for the nation.
Ambassador Timbo-Nwokedi said that she was optimistic about the future of the nation, describing Sierra Leoneans as a resilient people who have surmounted many challenges in the past and possess the moral and psychological will to rise above challenges and focus on nation-building.
Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi called on Sierra Leoneans to remain united and put the interest of the nation first, which will lead to a realization of the country’s national development goals.
Mrs. Timbo-Nwokedi pledged to continue her humanitarian and philanthropic endeavors to help make the world a better place for her fellow countrymen and women.
