Salone Security Personnel Enter Guinea*
A Sierra Leone delegation led by Brigadier A.B Conteh yesterday, 25th January, 2021 crossed into Guinea across the river at the Nongoa Garrison, Guekedou in the Southern border town of Guinea and held talks with their Guinean counterparts to resolve the Yenga issue.
No official report was issued after the meeting, but Freetown and Conakry are reportedly working on diplomatic moves to resolve the long – standing border dispute between the two countries.
