Sierra Leone, a country rich in natural resources and cultural diversity, has unfortunately been plagued by deep-rooted issues of corruption, injustice, human rights violations, and tribalism. These issues have persisted over time, creating a system in which those in power prioritize their own interests over the well-being of the people they are meant to serve.

At the heart of these problems are the political ideals that have shaped Sierra Leone’s government and society. The prioritization of personal gain over the common good has led to a culture of corruption that permeates all levels of government and society. This culture of corruption not only undermines the rule of law and erodes public trust but also hinders economic development and perpetuates inequality.

In addition to corruption, the prevalence of injustice and human rights violations in Sierra Leone further exacerbates the challenges faced by its citizens. The lack of accountability and transparency in the justice system allows for impunity to thrive, leading to widespread human rights abuses that often go unpunished.
