As Sierra Leoneans, we must look forward but with a proper reflection of the past which is necessary to our country’s history.

Sierra Leoneans must prepare themselves for a future of uncertainty, a future interlocking with a threat of democracy, hardship, tribalism, regionalism and partisan politics rather than a future hoping for the best.

How valuable is the question “What to Celebrate at 63 Years? The whole wheeze about Independence celebrations is underpinned by the fact that our politicians have failed to make any meaningful changes in our Country.

They have failed to honour their national pledge by pledging their life and loyalty to our Country Sierra Leone, but only an injection of deceit, Cruelty and unpatriotic sentiment.

They have been acting on the fiction that they designed to deceive the gullible citizens of their pathetic efforts of a doomed establishment.

Patriotism In Sierra Leone has vanished and is Swallowed by partisan allegiance. The Sierra Leone we know in the past for her tolerance and loyalty remains now a shadow of its former self with crucial settings adrift in an unpatronized and often ignored manners.

A Small country on the West Coast of Africa with hyperbolic clichés of tribal, regional and partisan divide with the life of the people predominantly in a partisan politics of divide and rule.

Rapid changes and the end of an era of hope and Unity that we went to school and grew up in, now show how fragile the systems are now.

In comparison to the then and now, it leaves us with a nostalgic distrust in the fabric of the systems that treated its citizens with nonchalant and misguided.

The big question now is Can we make Sierra Leone great again? When the moral decline of its citizens is at its lowest ebb, and the politician’s betrayal is worse than anything you can think of.

The Country of Sierra Leone and its people are full of cynicism, betrayal, and degradation which are compelling and upsetting epitome of the life of the people.

As Sierra Leoneans, Indeed we are living in a country of the willing led by the unknowing with a high political crush.

To judge and explore what is shameful and hidden in the history of our country Sierra Leone will be a nightmare that will be deeply troubled in trying to celebrate the present Independent to the past through the present political and ideological lenses.

The people of Sierra Leone need something unifying and something that can take our country forward which is an obvious obligation to all Sierra Leoneans.

Sierra Leone is busy making noise in celebrating 63 years of independence but forgetting to look out and reflect on how far the country has come since gaining its independence from Great Britain.

With all our mineral resources, Sierra Leone should have been an exception to poverty. But bad politics and unpatriotism have fueled our poverty and led us to rampant corruption and mismanagement.

These so-called unpatriotic politicians always failed to keep to their manifesto promises. They keep lying to the citizens easily just as they breathe and keep inundating the gullible citizens with misinformation which is then backed by their social media Vuvuzelas.

Our government officials and politicians have shaken the future of our country. What are they really doing that merits the celebration of Independence? Absolutely nothing and our country still lagged behind in terms of its economy while the New Direction establishment of Rtd. Brigadier Julius Maada Bio seems to prefer the sound of Silence.

There is an outcry of hardship and chaos in present-day Sierra Leone which is fragmented by neglect and lack of reforms, yet the very Citizens are yawning for 63 years of Independence Celebrations, What’s a paradox.

Sierra Leone is now a Country where Partisan political politics have been prioritised and put before patriotism and pragmatism. There has been a continuous failure to address the sustainable development of basic amenities

63 years of what, Progression or Retrogression? The ruling establishment of the Sierra Leone People’s Party has been consigned to history and the Party has understood the strong Public sentiment of basic sustainable development.

Before rejoicing for an Independent Celebration, I think the Country should acknowledge its historic mistakes of good governance and Patriotism which has manifested itself in our Independence Proclamation.

It’s pathetic and insane to see the Citizens of Sierra Leone moaning about the hardship in the Country, and seeing the very Citizens clamouring for 63 years of independence Celebrations with self-harm.

It is clearly known to all Sierra Leoneans that, our country’s economy has been suffering for so long with underinvestment which should be attributed to the successive failure of the past establishment that was concerned with corruption.

But with the present establishment of Rtd.Brigadier Julius Maada Bio unlike his Predecessor will turn the tide on basic sustainable development and will provide a boost to our country’s economy and basic state amenities if he ceases being mesmerised by his party’s betrayalist
and becomes firm on his principles.

Yet with all the pageantry of celebrations, the noisy Independent celebrations are just a manifestation of nonsense, cynicism and waste of money with a moral reality lurking in the 63 years of retrogression in the grubby charade of self-rule.

!! LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE OF SIERRA LEONE .

GOD BLESS US ALL!!
