About 8 members of the delegation of the ruling All People’s Congress ( APC) dispatched by President Ernest Koroma to hold peace talks between the various factions of the APC -North American Branch before going into a convention and elections arrived in the United States yesterday.
The team consisting of the Hon. Minkailu Mansaray, Deputy Chairman, All Peoples Congress and Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources; Alhaji Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh the National Secretary General ; Hon. Leonard Balogun Koroma, National Elections Coordinator of the All Peoples Congress and Minister of Transport and Aviation and Deputy Internal Affairs Minister Sheka Tarawallie touched down at the Dulles International Airport in Washington DC.
They were met on arrival by Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the United States , Mr. Bockarie Stevens and the Deputy Ambassador, Mr. Ibrahim S. Conteh. SEE PHOTOS BELOW :

THE ORIGINAL 13-MAN HIGH -POWERED DELEGATION FROM FREETOWN APPOINTED BY PRESIDENT ERNEST KOROMA ; WE HAVE LEARNT THAT LAST MINUTE CHANGES WERE MADE BY THE PRESIDENT AND SOME MEMBERS ARE NO LONGER IN THE DELEGATION. THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS, SHEKA TARAWALLIE WAS ADDED TO THE DELEGATION. ONLY ABOUT 8 MEMBERS ARE HERE .
