Can strong restrictions on soldiers stop a military coup in Sierra Leone ?

Amidst The Number of Coups In West Africa President Bio Has Enforces Restrict Movement On Soldiers!!
With military coups now popping up here and there in West Africa, a leaked memo from the Ministry of Defence has revealed that the President Bio led SLPP government has restricted the movement of military officers.
From Monday the 14 February 2022, any solider found roaming about the streets in Western Area must produce an authentic pass signed by the appropriate designated officer.
If a soldier fails produced one, that personnel will be arrest for futher verification.
Also all soliders in the provinces are forbidden from traveling out of their town or station. Except it is a duty call, but a permission should be granted from a senior military officer.

However, Sierra Leoneans on the social media have been arguing bitterly whether these restrictions are capable of stopping a military coup in Sierra Leone. While a good many supported the restrictions and believed that they will keep the soldiers in the barracks, majority of Sierra Leoneans opined that the measures were not enough. Sierra Leoneans said the only deterrent to military coups anywhere is good governance, as well as adherence to democracy and respect for the constitution and human rights.
